1. About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Aymen Lasfar ("we", "us"), who operates Rundploy at rundploy.com (the "Service"). By creating an account, buying a plan or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy (Privacy Policy) and our Refund Policy (Refund Policy).
If you use the Service for a company or other organisation, you confirm you're allowed to accept these Terms for it, and "you" includes that organisation.
2. The Service
Rundploy is a hosting platform for websites and web applications. Depending on your plan, it lets you:
- upload website files, or connect a GitHub repository, and have them built and run on our cloud infrastructure;
- get a free web address for each website and connect your own domain, with SSL certificates issued and renewed automatically;
- set environment variables, view build and request logs, see traffic and usage, and roll back to an earlier deployment;
- contact support from the dashboard.
The Free plan is a preview of the dashboard: apps can be created and "deployed" as a preview, but nothing runs publicly and files aren't stored. Websites go live on a paid plan.
Each plan has limits on websites, custom domains, size and number of instances per app, CPU time, bandwidth, build minutes and log history, shown on the pricing section of our website and on the Usage page of your dashboard. CPU time, bandwidth and build minutes are monthly allowances shared by all your apps; they reset on the 1st of each month (UTC) and unused amounts don't carry over.
If your CPU time or bandwidth runs out, your apps are taken offline until the next month starts or you upgrade, and nothing is deleted. If your build minutes run out, new builds pause until the next month, while redeploys of existing versions keep working. We show a warning in your dashboard when you reach 80% of an allowance.
Always-on instances, and larger instances (8 vCPU / 16 GB) on the Pro plan, are add-ons arranged with support and priced separately.
We keep improving the Service and may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature that's a main part of a plan you've paid for, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel and ask for a prorated refund of the unused time.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
- Give accurate information and keep your email address up to date: we send billing and service notices there.
- Keep your password and sign-in methods (Google or GitHub) secure. You're responsible for activity in your account. Tell us right away at support@rundploy.com if you think someone else has access.
- One person may not create several accounts to get more than one free trial or to get around limits or a suspension.
4. Plans, prices and billing
Current prices, in US dollars:
- Starter: $6 per month billed monthly, or $60 per year billed yearly.
- Plus: $19 per month billed monthly, or $180 per year billed yearly.
- Pro: $39 per month billed monthly, or $360 per year billed yearly.
- Free: no charge (preview only).
Prices shown on our website are the prices you pay, plus any sales tax or VAT added at checkout for your country. We may change prices for future billing periods; we'll email you at least 14 days before a change applies to your plan, and you can cancel before it does.
- Subscriptions. Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance, monthly or yearly. They renew automatically at the end of each period, using the payment method you chose, until you cancel.
- Trial offer. When we run a trial offer, you can try the Starter plan for a short period (for example 14 days) for a small one-time fee shown at checkout. When the trial ends, the Starter plan starts and is billed at its normal price unless you cancel before the trial ends. One trial per person; we use the security signals described in our Privacy Policy to prevent repeat trials.
- Upgrades and downgrades. You can change plans at any time from Billing. Upgrades take effect right away; the payment provider may charge a prorated amount for the rest of the current period. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal, and you need to be within the new plan's limits.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we'll show a notice in your dashboard and email you. You have 3 days to update your payment method. After that the plan stops and your websites are taken offline until the payment succeeds, when they come back automatically. Nothing is deleted at this point.
5. Payment providers
We don't collect or store your card or wallet details. Payments are handled by one of these providers, depending on the payment method you choose at checkout:
- Creem (creem.io), for card and other payment methods. Creem acts as the merchant of record: it is the seller on your receipt and card statement, collects and pays sales tax and VAT, and its Buyer Terms (www.creem.io/buyer-terms) also apply to your purchase.
- Whop (whop.com), for payments made through Whop checkout. Whop's own terms apply to those payments.
- NOWPayments (nowpayments.io), for payments in cryptocurrency. Crypto payments are final on the blockchain once confirmed. The amount due is fixed in US dollars at checkout and converted to the coin you pick. You're responsible for sending the exact amount, on the right network, before the payment window closes. Network fees are paid by you.
Each provider may ask for information to prevent fraud and may decline a payment. Your statement may show the provider's name rather than Rundploy.
6. Cancelling
You can cancel your subscription or trial at any time with the Cancel plan button on the Billing page of your dashboard, or by emailing support@rundploy.com. Cancelling stops future renewals. Your plan and websites stay active until the end of the period you've already paid for (or the end of the trial), and you can resume the plan until then. After that the account returns to the Free plan and your websites go offline. Nothing is deleted: choosing a paid plan again puts them back online.
Cancelling doesn't by itself give a refund for the current period. See our Refund Policy (Refund Policy) for when refunds apply.
7. Acceptable use
You may only host content and run software you have the right to publish. You may not use the Service, or let anyone use your websites, to:
- break any law, or host content that is illegal where you or your visitors are;
- host or distribute child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities;
- infringe copyright, trademarks or other rights, including pirated software, media or accounts;
- run phishing pages, scams, fake shops, or sites that impersonate another person or company;
- distribute malware, run botnets or command-and-control servers, or attack, scan or break into other systems;
- send spam or run bulk messaging, or host content promoted by spam;
- mine cryptocurrency, run open proxies or VPN exit nodes, or use resources in a way that harms the platform or other customers;
- host content that promotes violence, terrorism, or hatred against people based on protected characteristics, or that harasses specific people;
- host sexually explicit content;
- try to get around plan limits, security controls, billing, or a suspension.
We don't review customer websites before they go live, but we act on reports and on abuse we detect. Report abuse to support@rundploy.com.
8. Your content
You keep all rights to the files, code and data you host ("your content"). You give us a limited permission to store, copy, build, run and serve your content only as needed to provide the Service to you.
You're responsible for your content, for the apps you run, and for the data your apps collect from your visitors, including complying with privacy laws that apply to your website. When your website processes personal data of your visitors, you decide why and how; we process it only to host your website, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We keep recent deployments so you can roll back, but the Service is not a backup system for data your app stores (for example an external database or files your app writes while running). Keep your own copies of anything important.
9. Third-party services
The Service runs on, and connects to, services from other companies, such as Google Cloud, Cloudflare, Supabase, GitHub and the payment providers above. If you connect GitHub, you allow us to read the repositories you select so we can deploy them; you can remove that access in GitHub at any time. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms.
10. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service fast and available, and we monitor it. However, it's provided over the internet on third-party infrastructure, so we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may need short maintenance windows; we'll try to schedule them at quiet times and announce longer ones.
Support is available by email at support@rundploy.com and from Support in your dashboard. We reply within 3 business days.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend your account or take your websites offline, without a refund, if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if your account is used for fraud or abuse, if a payment is reversed through a chargeback, or if we're required to by law. Where it's reasonable and safe, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. Taking websites offline doesn't delete them, and we restore them once the issue is resolved.
You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@rundploy.com from your account's email address. We delete your websites, files and account data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should continue (such as payment obligations, liability limits and governing law) continue after termination.
12. Our intellectual property
Rundploy, its name, logo, website, dashboard and software belong to Aymen Lasfar. These Terms don't give you any rights to them except to use the Service. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Apart from what these Terms state, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we don't give other warranties, for example that the Service will meet a particular need.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, and our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing affects the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
14. Responsibility for your use
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, your websites or your breach of these Terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses that result, to the extent the law allows. This doesn't apply to consumers where the law doesn't permit it.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes or the law requires. The date at the top shows the latest version. For important changes, we'll email you at least 14 days before they apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
Please contact us first at support@rundploy.com; most problems can be solved quickly that way. These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where Aymen Lasfar is established, and its courts have jurisdiction, unless the law of your country gives you the right, as a consumer, to rely on its own laws or bring a claim in its own courts.
If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part straight away doesn't mean we give up the right to do so later.
